St. John's, Newfoundland / Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
B
Created and performed by Sarah Joy Stoker, B is a response to a
series of events that took place in
St. John’s in the summer of 2002 when a community experienced joy and
grief, clarity and confusion, patience, impatience, calmness, unrest
and comfort.
Reservoir
Reservoir dissolves cycles of disfunction into a cozy state of
softness. It highlights the sense of self and other in shifting
environments and the process of abandoning defensiveness. Featuring a
company of four dancers, Reservoir is choreographed by George Stamos
and was commissioned by the Canada Dance Festival, Neighborhood New
Dance Works, Live Art Dance Productions, the Brian Webb Dance Company
and is a co-production of the CanDance Network.
