The glint triple bill invites the audience into a unique context for experiencing these new works. Erika’s work-in-progress is multi-media installation for human and non-human performers (Studio). Francesca’s new solo will be performed to intimate audiences (Theatre). Alexa’s research piece will be an open sharing of group scores alongside one-on-one intimate dream readings (Patio).
Francesca Frewer will present When I Think It Has Yet To Begin, a high energy contemporary dance solo. Using endurance, patience, and curiosity, this piece sees performance as a process of perpetual becoming, and explores the complexities of the moment of choosing to let go or continue on.
Alexa Mardon will present a work-in-progress sharing of a crisis/a party, a hangout space, dance, and divination practice developed through shared dreams and the practice of carromancy; reading wax thrown into water.
Erika Mitsuhashi will present a work-in-progress sharing of on the cosmic shore, a performance and installation that explores relational practices of drifting movement and attention between human and non-human performers.
